Antonello Fiamma è un chitarrista, compositore e docente originario di Matera, nato il 15 gennaio 1991. Incontra la chitarra all’età di nove anni e, da allora, sviluppa un percorso musicale ricco e articolato che lo porta a esplorare mondi sonori molto diversi tra loro, unendo con naturalezza tecnica, ricerca stilistica e ispirazione artistica.

Dopo il diploma con lode in chitarra classica presso il Conservatorio “E. Duni” di Matera, sotto la guida del M° Clemente Giusto, arricchisce la propria formazione frequentando numerose masterclass con maestri internazionali come Tommy Emmanuel, Pino Forastiere, Andy McKee, Peter Bernstein e Davide Mastrangelo. Nel 2011 ottiene una borsa di studio per il CET di Mogol, dove si diploma in composizione per musica leggera sotto la guida di Giuseppe Barbera.

Nel 2013 si trasferisce a Milano e consegue il diploma in chitarra moderna presso il CPM Music Institute. Successivamente, intraprende un biennio in Musica Applicata alle Immagini presso il Conservatorio “G. Frescobaldi” di Ferrara, laureandosi con lode con una tesi sul ruolo della musica nei film Disney, arricchita da arrangiamenti originali per chitarra fingerstyle e orchestra sinfonica.

Negli anni si distingue in numerosi concorsi: vince il Premio A.D.G.P.A. 2014 come miglior chitarrista emergente italiano, è finalista all’Emergenza Festival 2015 (con esibizione sul palco principale dell’Alcatraz di Milano) e si aggiudica la sezione strumentale del concorso “L’artista che non c’era” nel 2018.

La sua discografia comprende sia composizioni strumentali per chitarra fingerstyle sia brani cantautorali. Tra le uscite più rappresentative si ricordano gli album “The Round Path” (2014), “Imperfections” (2017) e “Indelebile” (2021), oltre a numerosi singoli pubblicati tra il 2019 e il 2023.

L’attività concertistica riveste un ruolo centrale nella sua carriera: si esibisce in numerosi festival in Italia e all’estero, tra cui Acoustic Guitar Meeting, ADGPA, Un Paese a Sei Corde, Ferentino Acustica, Music Wall, Madame Guitar, e porta la sua musica anche in Francia, Germania e Austria. Ha condiviso il palco con noti chitarristi internazionali come Maneli Jamal, Trevor Gordon Hall, Andrea Valeri e Luca Francioso.

Tra i progetti più significativi:

• Apertura del concerto dei Dire Straits Legacy a Matera, nella notte di Capodanno 2016.

• Collaborazioni con l’Orchestra della Magna Grecia negli spettacoli Stili a Confronto (2021) e Guitar Landscapes (2022), con esecuzione di sue composizioni originali per chitarra e orchestra

Nel 2025 viene selezionato come Music Coach per il progetto europeo MOTIVE, che coinvolge Italia, Lituania e Polonia. In questo ruolo affianca i giovani musicisti vincitori del bando nella composizione di brani originali, che saranno eseguiti e pubblicati in occasione del concerto finale previsto a Crotone nel settembre 2025.

Parallelamente all’attività artistica, Antonello dedica grande attenzione all’insegnamento. Dal 2015 è docente presso la Scuola di Musica Cluster di Milano, dove insegna chitarra fingerstyle, classica e moderna, musica d’insieme, teoria e arrangiamento. Dal 2021 è responsabile degli esami Trinity e dei percorsi certificati; dal 2023 ricopre anche il ruolo di responsabile didattico, contribuendo alla crescita di una delle realtà musicali più dinamiche della città.

Antonello Fiamma is a guitarist, composer, and teacher from Matera, born on January 15, 1991. He discovered the guitar at the age of nine and since then has developed a rich and multifaceted musical journey that has led him to explore very different sound worlds, blending technique, stylistic research, and artistic inspiration with ease.

After graduating with honors in classical guitar from the “E. Duni” Conservatory of Matera under the guidance of Maestro Clemente Giusto, he expanded his education by attending several masterclasses with international artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Pino Forastiere, Andy McKee, Peter Bernstein, and Davide Mastrangelo. In 2011, he was awarded a scholarship to attend the CET of Mogol, where he earned a diploma in pop songwriting under the guidance of Giuseppe Barbera.

In 2013, he moved to Milan and obtained a diploma in modern guitar at the CPM Music Institute. He then pursued a two-year master’s degree in Applied Music for Images at the “G. Frescobaldi” Conservatory in Ferrara, graduating with honors with a thesis on the role of music in Disney films, enriched by original arrangements for fingerstyle guitar and symphonic orchestra.

Over the years, he has stood out in numerous competitions: he won the A.D.G.P.A. Prize in 2014 as the best emerging Italian guitarist, was a finalist at the Emergenza Festival 2015 (performing on the main stage of Milan’s Alcatraz), and won the instrumental section of the competition “L’artista che non c’era” in 2018.

His discography includes both fingerstyle instrumental compositions and singer-songwriter tracks. Among his most representative releases are the albums “The Round Path” (2014), “Imperfections” (2017), and “Indelebile” (2021), along with several singles released between 2019 and 2023.

Live performance plays a central role in his career: he has performed in numerous festivals in Italy and abroad, including Acoustic Guitar Meeting, ADGPA, Un Paese a Sei Corde, Ferentino Acustica, Music Wall, and Madame Guitar, and has brought his music to France, Germany, and Austria. He has shared the stage with internationally renowned guitarists such as Maneli Jamal, Trevor Gordon Hall, Andrea Valeri, and Luca Francioso.

In 2025, he was selected as Music Coach for the European project MOTIVE, which involves Italy, Lithuania, and Poland. In this role, he supports young musicians who won the competition in composing original pieces, which will be performed and published during the final concert scheduled in Crotone in September 2025.

Alongside his artistic career, Antonello is deeply committed to teaching. Since 2015, he has been a faculty member at the Cluster Music School in Milan, where he teaches fingerstyle, classical, and modern guitar, ensemble music, theory, and arranging. Since 2021, he has coordinated Trinity exams and certified programs; since 2023, he has also served as academic coordinator, contributing to the growth of one of the city’s most dynamic music institutions.
